Change of Format...

Welcome to my newsletter. I've been thinking a lot these past few days (I was ill with a sore throat infection), so had lots of time to look at some of the issues I have with the newsletter.

I will be trying a 'simpler' format going forward; let's hope you like it. Feedback welcome.

Love & Laughter.

Faisal

Life Quotes & Notes

There is no doubt that Rumi is one of the greatest poets of our time. Recently I came across one of his verses, which was extremely powerful.

The cure for pain is in the pain. (Rumi)

Twitter Thread of the Week

It is worth reading this thread if someone won the Nobel Prize for figuring out why people are bad at making decisions.

YouTube: Better Conversations

Having done over 5,000+ telephone calls in the last ten years alone, believe me when I tell you this is the video to watch.

Perspective: Taking Action.

Action is super important. In my life, especially of late, I have come across so many talented people, especially Generation Z, but none have been more full of self-doubt than those living in the current times.

Because we have access to too many media channels, we see success all around us, which for some reason, inculcates a feeling of not being able to deliver in ourselves. We have so much self-doubt that we honestly kill our dreams before they can even turn into some form of reality.

We act as if tomorrow is promised to us.

So many of us are inspired by others' growing and their wealth as displayed on social media that our daydream stretch has no bounds.

Stop it. Take action. Just start. Start with anything you love doing. If a 74 man from Japan can teach art on YouTube and amass 1+ million followers, so can you.

Stop watching those Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, or other Hypercar videos. Stop watching stupid sh*t that will just waste your time.

Start with something small, but something you can do consistently every day.

As a challenge, I decided to put up a website a day (you can access the list here: Website of the Day), and even though I had two days at the hospital being sick and getting IVs, I did my daily tasks.

It takes 21 days to form a habit. Do it. Your future self will thank you.

Question of the Week

Have you thought about your retirement?

One of the biggest, if not the only, reason for retiring without any money is that we were never told from an early age to plan for retirement. To set aside money in investments for the later years.

Think about this. You may be in your late 20s or mid-30s or even approaching 40s. What do you have savings and investments to ensure you can retire with a monthly income?

This is the question of the week.

And what are you going to do about it?

Building Something?

If you would like to build something, I invite you to join us for our weekly Twitter Spaces.

Go to www.GetBetterOutcomes.xyz and click on the Twitter Spaces link or follow Faizan Siddiqui or me (@babushka99) on Twitter to attend the spaces.

We host this open-house, one-hour Twitter Spaces weekly at 11 PM Pakistan Time and 9 PM Istanbul Time every Sunday.

Let us help you build something. No strings attached. We are not selling you anything. We donate our time every week to help people.

Someone to Follow

I came across this Instagram account of Sneha Gupta from India. She puts out these really simple but much-needed videos and has amassed a following of over 500,000 users on Instagram. I tried finding a similar example in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and the like, and I could find nothing.

Why is it that this young lady from India and many like her can put out stellar content like this, and we can not?

The reason I want you to follow her is not just for her superb content but in the hopes that you might take inspiration from this and might want to start something similar in your region.

Image of the Week

You are standing here... you have 15 seconds before the snake on the ground bites you, and then you die. Can you spot it in time?

The Answer.

Till next time.
